Ive used 3 different (Manufacturers) headlamps.... Armytek is the single best... Lumens, ease of use, technology. Would buy this same headlamp again, and recommend it. Will purchase other lights from Armytek too

Just received one today and it's like a can of sunshine on Turbo mode! Very confusing modes to learn but I downloaded the manual and now I'm a pro at going through each of the 4 modes (Firefly/Twilight, Main, Turbo, Strobes) plus each of the adjustable settings within each mode-- From 1/4 lumen, to 2,300 lumens!! INCREDIBLE!

The new Wizard Pro Silver XHP50 V3 is signifigantly brighter than the older Wizard Pro. The MAX mode lights a radius large enough for comfort in the darkest woods. Wildlife do not like this level of bright and most small forest mammals blink, freeze and then move away quickly. You will be very lonely in the darkest forest...

The unit does get very hot on MAX mode - too hot to hold after 2 minutes unless by the tailcoat. The #3 mode just below MAX is the one to use regularly - then boost to MAX only if you need to scare or see something much deeper in the forest.

The MAX strobe mode is ridiculously bright and seizure inducing - from behind the unit. I will not try looking at it from the front, that would be a stupid thing to do.

I can not think of a more clever design or durable every day carry. I have three and will give these as high quality gifts that should last many years. These lightweight, well balanced units are built to very tough standards and there are no worries about weather conditions or dropping. You would have to try hard, on purpose, to destroy one...

Except for the heat of extended MAX mode, I have no issues. Well worth the money.

It's worth the money. I had an older Armytek and this is better by far.

I carry Armytek Wizard Pro headlamp. I think it's very nice solid build, fit and finish. And I like matt anodizing very much. Really bright on Turbo.
I don't have much experience with all the different companies, but I like Armytek and can recommend it.

"Armytek Wizard Pro v2 XM L2 (Warm)" is a fantastic light for me to work with. The best and brightest hands-free flashlight that I know. The headband is very comfortable (I was wearing it for 7-8 hours without any headache). Great quality!

Awesome headlamp. Solid and quality built. Modes spread out evenly to meet any application that you need and it remembers your last used mode. Smart circuit design. I will buy again from Armytek.
